I am really impressed with the quantifiable benefits Yamaha is bringing to market with their new Aventage line of AVRs. However I am really getting pissed off by the way they are marketing them…and starting to lose faith in the credibility of all their otherwise legitimate claims.

Technical difficulties and blue language plague this podcast. Sorry about that. We’re working on getting Liz’s mic setup up and running ASAP. It may be a shorter podcast, but it is packed full of topics (and lots of off topic stuff as well). Tom’s got a big announcement (well, it’s big for him, maybe not so exciting for you) but you’ll have to wait for the end. 3D and Internet connectivity isn’t selling TVs? Shocking! Eizo has a new 3D TV that Tom can’t afford but wouldn’t mind checking out. Studios continue to hamstring rental outlets – now at the expense of the hearing impaired. Tom finds the new big Happy Meal giveaway, only it costs $350. Oh well. France has something that Tom wants.
