AV Rant #218: Use for Cotton Socks
And it isn’t to plug ports though that’s valid too. Is Amazon going to move to a subscription model? And if so, what does that mean for Netflix? Do you want more bundles? Did you ever wonder if anything good ever came out of those holiday text messages from your cell phone company? Homeless man makes good – at least that’s what the attendees at CES said. Tom’s not so sure they’ll sound all that great. What’s the downside to full featured TV’s? One reviewer finds out. Speaking of reviews, Bose has a new one out. Of a sort. A use for cotton socks and how to EQ your subwoofer. Thanks for listening and don’t forget to vote for us at Podcast Alley! To see our (mostly) complete collection of show videos, click here. See, I told you. Creepy.
Make it stop!
He looks like he just finished a little “Clockwork Orange” behavioral modification session
I think I prefer the old format that began with a good rant. Diving immediately into the topics feels rushed. And prompting Liz (“But now they’re talking about bundling even more things, right?”) makes me chuckle =)
I kind of like the “topic run down” at the top of the show. It makes it all the more funny when Tom instantly goes “off topic” – lol
Don’t forget, Liz is still pretty new to the podcast. It’s like Dina’s early days when she was all nice and polite and didn’t want to talk over Tom or disagree too much or poke too much fun.
Don’t worry. Slowly but surely, Tom’s AV Rage will infect Liz and chip away at her professionalism and niceness until she is comfortable slinging insults and ranting with the best of ’em!
😀
Ha!
I suspect you may be right, Rob. That’s why, although I have sent a few proposed titles to Liz, she probably shouldn’t pick one until her actual role has evolved to the steady state…. and no, I don’t mean Tom and Liz should go steady.
