00:49:18 – Henry: Anything to Buy Immediately?

We go through Henry’s list of HT equipment to pick out anything he ought to buy now before price increases due to tariffs hit in full force.

00:56:54 – Dazz: New or Old Receiver

Tom makes the argument for why Dazz should give his son his old Receiver along with a set of five speakers. Rob makes the argument for why he should buy his son something new.

01:32:13 – Infinite Gary: IMAX in Japan

Does the rapid expansion of IMAX in Japan make financial sense? Using a Kaleidescape player that can do HDR with a projector that can’t. Does Kaleidescape really “surpass Blu-ray quality”? SVS’ future trickle-down plans?

01:49:26 – Bob: Source Level, Recessed Center & AVR Volume

Is the individual Source Level setting potentially harmful to the signal? Could pulling his Center forward 1 inch so that it’s flush instead of recessed actually make a big difference? And why can’t we choose how much the volume changes with each button click?

01:57:22 – Mark: Why Damp When Spikes Are Included?

He knows we prefer to damp and decouple. But why does everything come with spikes if damping would be better?
