Send help…
I am currently in J.’s and my hotel room in downtown Denver. It is 1:30. In the morning. To me, it is actually 3:30 AM. Because I am from the east coast. I am so unbelievable tired. So why, pray tell, am I posting instead of sleeping????
It is because J. and I are not alone. Clint, Gene, Tony and J. are all here, computers at work, posting stories. CEDIA coverage. Now, out of all four hotel rooms between the seven audiohaulics team members, guess whose room has the best internet signal. Time’s up. MINE!!! They even went to the lobby for a while and still ended up here. Tony is in a chair, J. is at the desk, Gene is in my bed (!) and I am sitting on a bed with Clint (!!) They are showing NO signs of exit behavior. Send help. I am serious.
They left. Just now. It’s 3:32. 5:32 dina time, for anyone keeping track.
You just need some of those wireless speakers and it will mess up the internet signal in your room! Then you can get some sleep tonight! See if you can find a booth that will let you borrow them for the evening! *laugh*
wow, that sounds strangely like some of my journal entries from college, minus the internet signals, computers, hotel rooms, oh, and the boys in our rooms part….
but the up wayyyyy too late part is strangely familiar… remember this quote “we do our best work when we are awake” said at 3 a.m. one morning as we worked on a project that was due at around 8 a.m….
Jim R, I like the way you think.
Lea, college was NEVER this entertaining. Wait until you see the video…
let’s just thank the merciful God in heaven that there is NO video footage of us in college. the horror, the sheer horror of it would be overwhelming…
Remember, you’re now part of their “family” 😛
And you did want to go 😮
She’s stuck now. Dina did such a great job with the videos and voiceovers that she’s completely entrenched in our future coverage… I just hope she doesn’t start to realize this and blackmail us.
Dina: You know, I’d love to get a first class seat and perhaps a suite in the hotel… a massage might be nice, too – and don’t forget that I love those little green mints on my pillows when I get to the hotel after a hard day’s work…
I don’t even know how to respond to this…
