AV Rant #196: Ponce
September 2nd, 2010
Tom is disappointed in his listeners (though Dina really should have read the comments from last week). Blockbuster is going bankrupt – Tom’s not surprised. James Camereon needs a new car (or something) so he adds nine minutes. The upside – he’s producing a movie that Tom’s REALLY looking forward to. An opera for Star Trek fans. Receiver features vs amp quality. A few questions from Jonathan and Gaylen. Thanks for listening and don’t forget to vote for us at Podcast Alley! Tom has an ego? I thought he was one with the universe, strives for peace on earth, and is in touch with his Zen! The Audio-Videophile-David- Carradine of all podcasts!

This is Klingon for “Tom, you know you want to go to the opera”
That’s too funny… I woke up one morning in a really pissy mood and wrote a blog after reading that Avatar was coming back to theaters.

Great podcast as usual even if Dina is faking about having a scheduling conflicts to get attention. 😡 Just kidding… hope she sticks around to counter-balance Tom’s antics.
My email to Dina came back as “undeliverable”! It looks as though Dina’s avrant address is being forwarded to another email account, but my message couldn’t get through!
So before we go saying that nobody emailed Dina, we really must find out if others have had this same problem!
Dina, you wouldn’t want to miss all of your fan mail, would you? (or maybe it’s just me who’s blocked or something :p )
Yeah, I was surprised when Dina said she received zero emails. I would expect she’d have a least one fan, you know the kind that lives up in Point Barrow Alaska…or South Pole. 😛
Wow, I’ve managed to poke-fun at both Tom and Dina in the same podcast! I’m on a roll! 😀
Had the same problem with Dina’s email.
The UK’s deal with cables can be explained by one very popular publication. I’m not going to say What this Hi-Fi publication is called, but it unfortunately carries a lot of weight with the average UK consumer.
As for men and scarves, I fear that’s the Scandinavian dress code. Couple that with a fondness for hair product and you have one seriously poncy looking society. Now if only my wife would realise that and stop trying to dress me up in one.
