The only part of the cloud drive that could get Amazon into trouble is the fact that new purchases you make don’t get counted against your storage. If Amazon isn’t storing individual copies of each song purchased, the record companies could argue that Amazon is streaming music without a license. I feel like this would probably be decided in Amazon’s favor if it ever went to court. It doesn’t make sense for them to store hundreds or thousands of copies of one song just because that many people bought it.
There is no chance that the uploading of files and streaming them from the cloud drive would be blocked or be declared illegal. It’s no different that storing your mp3’s on a memory stick. The only issue they could run into here is if they didn’t actually store everyone’s individual file. For example, if I upload file x and you upload file x as well, Amazon could only store one copy on their servers and just give you a link to my file x. I doubt they are going to do this however, it’s probably more expensive to implement than to just provide the storage. Especially since you’re paying for any storage over 5GB.

“twoll” is WAAAAAY better than “pwitter”… Of course, I like “Twurvey” myself… lol.
I don’t really use Twitter, so here are my votes for the headphone poll:
– Close-backed: Sony MDR-7506 (Good for tracking, but very bright and little mid-range resolution).
– Open-backed: Beyerdynamic DT880 (250 ohm, nice mid-range, very accurate and great for mixing, but fairly shallow bass extension for pleasure listening).
– In-ear: Shure SE530 (great mid-range, smooth top end, great bass for IEMs)
Looking at a set of Shure SRH840 close-backed to replace the 7506s.
Listened to the Beatbox by Dre iPod dock at Best Buy today and, I hate to say it, but it sounded pretty good. The bass begins to distort at higher volume, but the highs and mids remain fairly in tact. It wasn’t an ideal listening environment, but it was enjoyable enough and I don’t think it would be fatiguing to listen to over long periods.
Talk about old school.

I hate “twoll” for the same reason Liz does, it makes Tom sound like a pre-schooler or “buckwheat”. But alas, “pwitter” is worse for other reasons.
Why do you just call it a “Twitter Poll”?

“twoll” stands for “Twitter Poll” – it’s just shortened is all. And if you decide to join Twitter, you will quickly come to realize just how precious every character really is when you have a 140 character limit!
“twoll” wins in my book because it uses the fewest letters – that’s all!
