AVRant #62: How big is the Internet again?
Dina gets a new title and Tom gets… geekier? Tom’s bulking up but not in a good way. Kevin wants to know how worried he should be with burn-in. Cliff has some advice about cubed speakers. Last Friday was Gaming at Your Library day – Tom missed it. Using your library for gaming is OK but there are other uses that… aren’t. Is it a good idea to encourage kids to come to the library to game? Dina is a bit neurotic about the video games. There are places where video games are illegal. New FREE wireless internet… without porn? Dina sings a diddy. How to do a bad comparison – and this time it ISN’T Monster’s fault. Comcast compresses their HD – shocking, we know. That 13 year old boy story was a lie. Oh, well. They should have saved that one for April Fool’s Day. Thanks for listening and don’t forget to vote for us at Podcast Alley.

I think that if they correctly themed the video gaming at the library, it’s very likely they could interest at least some kids in reading books about those themes.
OK, I’m off to change my ringtone!
Bite me in the butt later. Bite me in the butt later. Bite me in the butt later. Hello?
We could make a mint, I’m telling you… a MINT! 🙂
Tom. You. Suck.
I agree with Dina on the gaming library issue; seriously, if the only way you can get a kid into a library is by dangling a game in front of them I’d bet that 999 times out of a 1000 the kids will never be interested in checking out a book. Pretty bad return on investment if you ask me.
Which is better than the 1000 out of 1000 you’d get if you didn’t dangle games in front of them. Not saying it’s a great solution, but it is a solution.
“You can put miss pac-man in a room full of hot chicks, there going to go “”is that miss pac-man?””, “”Waka waka” ………… LOL!!!! lol
